INTRODUCTION :
Secara garis besar ada 4 faktor penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan yaitu tindakan tidak aman atau berbahaya (unsafe acts/practices atau substandard acts/practices), kondisi tidak aman atau berbahaya (unsafe conditions atau substandard conditions), faktor perorangan atau faktor manusia (human/ personal factor), dan faktor lingkungan kerja (job environment factor). Untuk unsafe acts/practices dan unsafe conditions pada umumnya disebabkan karena perilaku berisiko (at risk-behavior) sehingga diperlukan suatu program untuk merubah atau mengurangi “At Risk-Behavior” menjadi perilaku selamat atau “Safe-Behavior” yang dikenal dengan program   “ Behavior Based Safety (BBS)”. Program BBS ini bersifat Pro-Active dan bukan untuk merubah sistem keselamatan kerja (safety system) yang sudah ada, tetapi untuk lebih memperbaikinya.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES :
Peserta pelatihan akan dapat mengetahui alasan-alasan atau penyebab-penyebab mengapa seseorang berperilaku berisiko (at risk-behavior), kemudian dapat melakukan “Analisa ABC (Antecedents, Behavior, Consequences)” dan melakukan pengamatan perilaku dengan menggunakan Kartu Observasi BBS, baik terhadap rekan sekerja, bawahan, atasan atau siapapun yang ada didalam tempat kerja dengan prinsip komunikasi dua arah, sehingga tercipta perilaku atau budaya kerja selamat (“safe work behavior” atau “safe work culture”).

TRAINING MATERIAL OUTLINE :
1. Pengenalan Prinsip-Prinsip Dasar Manajemen Pengendalian Rugi (Basic Principles of Loss Control Management).
2. Jenis-jenis Bahaya Potensial Ditempat Kerja & Cara Pengendaliannya (Potential Hazards at Workplace & Hazards Control).
3. Perilaku Selamat vs Perilaku Berisiko (Safe-Behavior vs At Risk-Behavior) :
4. Definisi/pengertian dari perilaku (behavior), safe-behavior, at risk-behavior; jenis-jenis perilaku.
5. Hambatan-hambatan orang mau bekerja dengan selamat.
6. ABC Analysis atau Analisa ABC (Antecedents, Behavior, Consequences).
7. Safe Behavior & Critical/At-Risk Behavior Inventory (Posisi tubuh/ badan; Menggunakan badan; Peralatan & perlengkapan; Prosedur; Area kerja; Bekerja di kantor; Aspek lingkungan; APD; Mengemudi, dll.).
8. Studi Kasus/ Case Study (menganalisa kasus-kasus nyata BBS dilapangan).
9. Praktek observasi BBS (latihan/simulasi dalam kelas dan ditempat kerja atau fasilitas tempat training) dengan menggunakan Kartu Observasi BBS atau BBS Observation Card).
10. Pre-Course Assessment (Pre-Test) & Post-Course Assessment (Post-Test).

Ir. Didi Sugandi,Bc.M was born inBandung August 21, 1950. He studied at Akademi Minyak dan Gas Bumi (AKAMIGAS)/ Oil & Natural Gas Academy, Cepu, Central Java (1973-1977), graduated as Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering (Bakaloreat Minyak or Bc. M), under sponsorship or study assignment of PT Stanvac Indonesia and he also studied at University of Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran, Yogyakarta (1986-1991), graduated as Petroleum Engineer (Ir.), under sponsorship or study assignment of Huffco/VICO Indonesia. His work experiences is 39 years in oil and gas companies and 1 year in geothermal, detailly as follows:
1. 1970 – 1981 : PT Stanvac Indonesia Pendopo, South Sumatera (Production Dept., Study Assignment at AKAMIGAS Cepu, Safety & Equipment Inspection Dept.)
2. 1981 – 1997 : Huffco / VICO Indonesia, East Kalimantan (Production Dept., Manpower Planning & Development, Study Assignment at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, Production Dept., Loss Prevention & Environment Dept./LPED, HSE System Dept.)
3. 1997 – 1998 : Karaha Bodas Company (KBC-Geothermal Drilling Project, Garut, West Java, HSE Dept.) & Sumitomo Corporation (Geothermal Power Plant Construction Project, Pangalengan, West Java, HSE Dept.)
4. 1999 – 2002 : JOB Pertamina-Gulf Resources, Jambi, Sumatera, HSE Dept. (under contract services of SUCOFINDO Main Office Jakarta & PT Guna Persada Engineering)
5. 2003 – now : Caltex/Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI), Riau, Sumatera, HES Management System Audit Project in Drilling & Wellwork Operations (under contract services of PT Surveyor Indonesia – Pekanbaru)
